Chapter: 7: Learning to Pilot TAD
"How long will it take to get there?" Amber asked.
"Without any stops, it is calculated to be a week. But that is only getting there." Zexu replied. TAD's speed was held at the 12 m/h, not to increase. The drones rolled at the same continuos pace, keeping a meter behind.
"The drones are working in low temperatures, and at mid-performance. An optimal 30 miles per hour will advance to high, and 45 to push max." The female AI explained.
"Good, then we shall get there in half the time. That is if you don't mind a rough ride?" Zexu said as some parts on the legs came up and rotated with a quick weez as the small motors cooled.

“Come on.”
His foot violently shook again. Cracking his eyes open, the overwhelming scent of industry and garbage invaded his senses. His foot jolted once more.
“Come on,” whined a little boy’s voice. “Get up! Marty’s gonna have dinner ready soon!”
Eyes opened wider, the young man sat up slowly, “By the Angels-“ His hand flew up gripping his head, “I feel like I was hit by a truck.”
“Nah, you’d be much more banged up,” a little boy with short cropped blonde hair and blue eyes shining offered cheeky grin. “Although it does

Aperture Afterlife: GLaDOS's Story - Ch. A1
I was born in 1925 as Caroline Breen to a wealthy family in New Mexico. I was the oldest of four children (two boys and two girls) with my siblings being from oldest to youngest: David, Sonya, and Wallace.
Throughout my life in school, my favorite class of all time was science. I had dreams of doing science and inventing things to help the world. Science was my all-time favorite class, but I also had a bit of passion for Italian. (Sono anni dall'ultima volta che ho parlato Italiano, quindi io non sono esperto.)
My life took a troubling turn when World War II broke out. My father enlisted in the US military, and he wanted all four of his chi

Hi There. I'm a male dolphin. I'd tell you my name, but there aren't Internet characters for our language. You can just call me Paul.
Most humans think we're less intelligent than they are. The reality though is, Like with humans, we come in all ranges of intelligence. Some of us are smarter than some people, and vise versa.
Here I want to tell you the story of Sharon, and ultimately how we were able to upload our story to DeviantArt.
I was always different than the other Dolphins, and they knew I was different and tended to shun me. My main problem was that I really wasn't "interest

For the record, I'm not writing this because I have some psychological need to get it out. It's just in my head.
I went in to the Records Office the other day. Bright and early. The alarm on my bedside display had woken me up all pleasant-like with the instrumental music I enjoy followed by the “bing” of the notification reminding me of my appointment. I hadn't been entirely enthusiastic about it, though – as I guess was obvious from my last journal entry – so I had tapped “snooze” on the screen only for the Non (the computerized assistant – “Non-Users” is what it's short for, I
The challenge Cry faced via its host’s neurological activity was notable. Its methods of neurological override only seemed to work so much, as its host’s decision making abilities had become erratic and impaired, made evident by her rapid escape from her room. Cry monitored the occipital data stream, and received images of other people, most outside of close proximity.

Cathy was laying in bed....
Lauren started making a lot of noise.
"Catherine! Catherine get up now.", ordered Lauren.
"Lauren, I do not want to.", replied Catherine.
Lauren: "I have a big day planned for you. You must wake up now"
Cathy groggily got out of bed.
Cathy: "I hope you atleast have coffee ready"
Lauren: "But of course. It's sitting in the coffeemaker"
Lauren then continued: "You have 3 job interviews today"
Cathy (half asleep): "Job interviews?"
Lauren: "Yes, Dear. I have arranged to have a suit delivered for you. I have been sending your resume a
